Dear Daddy,

It's been really hot here for the last week! We have played outside a lot. Mummy topped up our sand table and I still love playing in there although Molly keeps taking handfuls and dumping them on the ground. My chicken pox are a lot better now and have all gone scabby. Mummy says I can play with other children again now, so I'm probably going back to school today.

Yesterday Sienna came over to play and we walked to the BX and Mummy got me some more playdough. We've been playing with our play dough machine a lot.

Dear Daddy,

On Monday Jodie, Sienna, Kai, Mummy, Harriet, Molly and me went on the train to London Zoo! Mummy got lost on the way to Ely station - we ended up near Newmarket - poor Mummy, she isn't good with directions. We did make it in time for our train though, so that was good. We had a great time and saw lots and lots of animals. When you come back I want to go with you too Daddy!

On Wednesday of this week I didn't feel well. I went to school but they told me that Mummy that I'd been very quiet and that I hadn't smiled all day. At bed time Mummy noticed that I had a spot on my side - it looked a bit like a blister and we thought that maybe I had chicken pox as 8 children at school had it. On Thursday morning we didn't have to wonder anymore - I had lots of spots! On Friday and had even more and on Saturday and today I have over 300spots. I have them on the palms of my hands, soles of my feet, on my gums and the inside of my cheeks. They are super itchy -especially the ones on my head.

Mummy is wondering when Molly will catch them.

Daddy, we're missing you so much. Not long now though. We cant wait to see you.

Dear Daddy,

Sorry that we havent been good at updating this. Our internet has been VERY rubbish and we've also been very busy. When im not at school im usually on a playdate with Thomas, or Kai and Sienna.

Molly has been saying lots and lots of new words and using the potty a lot. She keeps telling me 'Daddy gone' but I already know that.

My behaviour hasn't been very good lately. Mummy thinks that ive turned into a drama queen since turning four. I think that maybe I actually AM a drama queen. I like to take forever to get my shoes on when we leave the house, I often like to cry and protest.

Dear Daddy,

This weekend it has been nice and sunny, which makes a nice change after all the rain we have had. Yesterday we stayed at home in the morning and in the afternoon we went to Jodie's house and I got to play with Kai and Sienna-Faye. They have lots of cool toys!

Today we went to see Grandad, George and Jo for a while and then spent the rest of the day at Nana's house as she had a BBQ. I got to play with lots of different people including my bestest friend Jimmy. Molly had a good time too.

Dear Daddy,

This weekend we went to see Grandad and Nana Jo on Sunday. I stayed with Grandad while Mummy took Molly to Spotted Giraffe play barn for a baby party. I helped him make the concrete and pour it to make a new floor. I was VERY good boy. Yesterday it was Bank Holiday Monday and we went for a walk in Santom Downham. Gradad, Jo and George came too! After that we went to play at Thomas' house.

Today I went to school and I was very good as always. My teacher told Mummy how I am such a kind boy.

Molly has started using lots of words. She doesnt call me 'Maa' anymore. She now calls me 'Sham'. Here we are eating icecream. I was very sneaky and got it down myself from the freezer and helped Molly eat some. Mummy found us and took a photo!!

Dear Daddy,

This week has been rainy - again! the river near Grandads is REALLY high and a bit overflowing! I have had a good week at school and before school on Thursday I got to play with Sienna Faye - I REALLY like her! ;-)

On Thursday afternoon I went to the doctors on base to check I didn't have a UTI. It was rubbish and took 45minutes. Mummy was getting VERY frustrated.

Last night, after school, we went all the way over to Granddad's to George's party! There were lots of people for me to play with and I ate jelly and cake for dinner!

Here we are with the bricks AGAIN! Mummy ordered me some new ones from the Internet! I have SO many now. Id still really like the firetruck set though. Molly is playing with the new stroller that Jodie, Sienna and Kai got her for her birthday! She LOVES it.

We have all really missed you this week Daddy as we haven't been able to speak to you very often! :(

Molly is OBSESSED with her wellies, she likes to put them on as soon as she wakes up - which is just as well has it has been raining and raining and raining here. We're all fed up of being trapped inside or getting wet all the time.

This weekend was Molly's birthday. On Saturday Grandad and Nana Jo came over and we had tea and ate cakes and sang Happy Birthday. Molly got lots of presents. Two 'babies', games, money, pens and lots of other things. I want to show you lots of pictures, but it wont let me upload them today. On Sunday Molly had another party at Nana's with Jimmy and Ryan too. We had more cake and more presents for Molly - although I did 'help' her open them!

This week I have been at school again. It's been raining a LOT so no playing outside.

Dear Daddy,

Today we walked to Mildenhall BX - which I enjoyed. We picked up the ingredients to make Molly's birthday cakes.

I went to Topsy's school and had a good time. After school, when we got home, I discovered that Mummy and Molly had made me a surprise! They'd built me a new bed! it's VERY cool. I use the steps that you got for me in America to climb up! I have a LOT more floor space for playing now and the spare room has my old bed!

Tomorrow is Molly's birthday. I'm very sad that you don't get to be here with us! Molly will miss you a LOT.

Dear Daddy,

I have been playing with my Duplo a LOT! I LOVE it! I'm getting really good at building houses/barns/farms/trailers. Mummy took a picture of the barn and tractor/trailer that I built all by myself. Molly enjoys playing with me too!

 Here is Molly this morning with a mouthful of cheese. We laugh at her crazy hair. Mummy doesnt know what to do with it. Molly is wearing my 'Happy 1st Birthday' onesie, which is funny as she is two on Saturday. Molly weighs less than I did at my 1st birthday! She is tiny!

Today I went to Topsy's school and I loved it. I always make all of the teachers laugh.

Today was my first day back at school after the Easter Holidays. It was good to be back. After school we went to Scotsdales to eat lunch and then went back to Nana's house.

Dear Daddy,

This morning we went to the base and finally got us all registered with Tricare at the hospital. We also sent you a special surprise. I enjoyed yelling 'I NEED A POO' in an almost silent and very busy post office, Mummy loved it too!

After the base we went to Thomas' house to play for the whole afternoon! It was great fun!

Molly is very frightened of all the planes that fly over!

Dear Daddy,

On Thursday Thomas and his Mummy came over to play. It was fun. They stayed all day so we got to do lots and lots of playing! I was exhausted by bedtime. Yesterday, Molly and I went to Nana's for the afternoon so Mummy could go to the cinema with Jodie and Shannon. Nana let us eat ice cream!

We are proud of you Daddy, mummy says you are working lots and lots and are very tired. We think of you often. I miss you SO much

Over Easter, Molly and I got SO much chocolate that Mummy has had to take it away and ration it!

Yesterday we went to collect Great Grandma to bring her to our house as she hasnt seen it yet! She loved it. She brought cakes with her too! We took her to eat on the base!

Today we went over to Nana's house and we all went to Saffron Walden. I got a haircut. The last time I had it cut was the week before you came home for your visit! So it had got pretty long! I look really cool! I know you saw it on Skype but Mummy will take a photo tomorrow!

It's Easter weekend! We made Easter nests today! I did it all by myself!

Yesterday I spent the day with Grandad and Nana Jo. Lottie came over to play too and we had great fun. We played with trains, made cakes, went on a walk to watch trains. I was VERY well behaved. Tomorrow we're going to Granddad's again to have a 'birthday lunch' as on Monday it's Granddad's birthday!

Today we went all the way over to Grandads and looked after George. It was a grey day and a bit rainy and cold so we played inside mainly.

Today Thomas came to play so his Mummy could go to her hospital appointment. Then when she came back she stayed for tea and Jodie, Sienna and Shannon came too! Our house was full! It was great fun!

Dear Daddy,


Sorry it's been a while we've all been poorly. I have had a tickly cough and a runny nose and so has Molly. Mummy had strep throat and she is now taking antibiotics!

It's Easter Holidays from school now - so no school for me until the 16th of April!! On Saturday we went to the Easter Fete at Thomas' school and I won a big chocolate egg for hitting a pretend rat as it came out of a tube! I also got given a big egg my school - so on Easter Sunday I will have LOTS of chocolate to eat!!

Today we went with Nana Jo and George to the High Lodge Forest Centre just up the road in Thetford. It was REALLY cool! We should go there when you come back! Lots of trees, lots of pine cones and we even had a picnic in a field!

Dear Daddy,

It's been another hot and sunny day! I've played outside a LOT! This morning we went with Mummy to the base hospital as she has had a VERY sore throat. They couldn't help her, so we went all the way to Sawston, to the better doctors and she got some medicine. It was cool. Afterwards we got to see Nana and Harriet.

This afternoon I went to school. I actually really love my school now. I LOVE having my packed lunch there!
